Route 18 now making select trips to Buffalo Road

Route 18 will now make select trips to Buffalo Road. Catch Route 18 at Buffalo & Nagle at 6:50AM  or Buffalo & Saltsman at 6:55AM to connect with the campus loop at University Gates. A return trip will leave University Gates at 12:33 PM to return students to Buffalo Road. More connections to Buffalo Road will be available starting 3:36PM via Route 25.

EMTA Fares to Increase October 1st, 2017

October 2014 was the first fare increase at EMTA in over 17 years. This year will mark the 4th increase in EMTA’s 5 year fare-increase plan which was approved by EMTA’s board.

Fares are increasing in order to comply with regulations, keep pace with inflation, and maintain comparable prices to our transit peers. EMTA fares remain one of the lowest in the state of Pennsylvania.

LANTA (Allentown): $2.00
Rabbit Transit (York): $1.60
Red Rose Transit (Lancaster): $1.70
COLTS (Scranton): $1.75
Port Authority (Pittsburgh): $2.50

Cash Transfer: .40¢

31-Day Pass: $49.00

20-Ride Pass: $26.00

5-Ride Pass: $7.00

Ride for free with your RED 2017-18 eCollege sticker. Stickers prove current student status. Blue 2016-2017 stickers will not be accepted after 10-1-2017.

Millcreek Mall bus stop to move to new location starting April 10th


Due to the construction of the new Boscov’s department store, the Millcreek Mall has notified EMTA that it will be temporarily moving the current bus stop until further notice. The new bus stop will be located on the northwest side of the Mall near the Macy’s entrance. Please allow extra time while traveling on the following routes that service the Millcreek Mall: 1,3,4,12,13,14,15 & 17. If you have any questions, please call 814-452-3515.
